What type of event are your marquees suitable for?

Anything really. They are ideally suited for Weddings, Summer Balls, Birthday & Aniversary Celebrations, Garden Parties & Corporate Events.

How many guests will the marquee accommodate?

The answer depends on whether your guests are standing or formally seated. Our most popular marquee (28ft x 38ft) seats 80. When we join marquees together additional seating space is created. Our style of marquee can readily accommodate 500 seated guests.

Do you always attach the side walls and do they cost extra?

The side walls are included in the price and, given our unpredicatable weather, we always attach them. If you want the alfresco feel they are very easily rolled up to make the arch fully open.

Will I need carpeting?

Almost always yes. If the ladies are wearing stiletto heels or if its wet then the carpet is a must!

Am I likely to need heating?

That depends on the time of year. In April, May, early June, September and October the nights can be cool and you probably would need some heat - please ask for a quote.

Can I decorate the marquee?

Yes you can, but under no circumstances can anything be stuck to the marquee or side wall fabric or any marker used. Candles are fine as long as they are in a container.

Do you hire toilets?

Yes we do - please ask for a quote.

What sort of surface can the marquees be set up on?

Generally speaking they are set up on grass. It is possible to set them up on flags or block paving as long as there is someone to remove the flags or blocks where the mooring plates are staked to the ground.

What are the usual set up days?

We set up Wednesday to Friday and take down Sunday to Tuesday. Mid week events are by agreement.

What size of tables do you have and how many do they seat?

5ft tables seat up to 10, 4ft tables up to 6 and 6ft trestle tables can seat 8.
