Premier Event Marquees FAQ

What type of event are your marquees hired for? How many guests will the marquees accommodate? Do you always attach the side walls and do they cost extra? Will I need carpeting? Am I likely to need heating? What about decorating the marquees? What are the usual set up days? Do you hire toilets? What size are your tables and how many can they seat? What sort of surfaces can the marquees be set up on? What type of event are your marquees hired for? Anything really. They are ideally suited for Weddings Summer Balls, birthday celebrations, garden parties, corporate events, fetes, BBQ's and luncheon parties. How many guests will the marquees accommodate? Depending on whether your guests are to be seated or standing the smallest marquee (20ft x 20ft) will seat 32 and the largest (28ft x 38ft) will seat 80. When the marquees are joined together additional seating space is created and we regularly cover events seating in excess of 350 guests. Do you always attach the side walls and do they cost extra? Unless you specifically request us otherwise we always attach the sides. The side walls are very easily attached which allows you to take them off if required. They are always included in the price. Will I need carpeting? It depends on the type of event you are having. For weddings and summer ball's or if the ladies are wearing stiletto heels then we strongly recommend carpets. Am I likely to need heating? That always depends on our very unpredictable weather. Even on the warmest day it can get chilly at night. We can provide heating, please ask for a quote. What about decorating the marquees? You are free to decorate the marquees, but under no circumstances can anything be stuck to, or any sort of marker used on the marquee fabric. What are the usual set up days? For a Saturday event we set up Wednesday to Friday and take down on Sunday to Tuesday. Set up days for event other than Saturdays are by agreement. Do you hire toilets? No we don't, but we can usually recommend someone who does. What size are your tables and how many can they seat? We have 3 sizes of tables. Our 5ft round tables seat up to 10, our 4ft round tables seat up to 8 and our 6ft trestle tables will seat 8. What sort of surfaces can the marquees be set up on? Generally speaking they are only set up on grass. We have on occasion set them up on block paving and flags on the understanding that there is someone on site to remove the blocks where the mooring plates are staked to the ground.
